During 1991, as a member of the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, where she grew up, she served as a Women's Seminar Leader on the topic of "Christian Women in the Workplace." In 1992, Dr. Williams taught Prayer and Spiritual Warfare Classes on a weekly basis at One Sent Ministries, Inc., in Chicago, Illinois. Since 1992 to the present, she has had various preaching and teaching engagements at churches in the Chicagoland area, downstate Illinois, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, North East India, South India, the Nations of Kenya, East Africa and Cross River State, Nigeria, West Africa, adding in October 2014, Kampala, Uganda. Our 2014 Ministry Calendar also includes a groundbreaking tour to the HOLYLAND, JERUSALEM, ISRAEL! In 1994, Dr. Williams was licensed to preach by her Pastor, Bishop Larry D. Trotter. In 1995, Dr. Williams was nominated and honored as Christian Woman of the Year by the Christian Women’s Community Network of Chicago.
Also in 1995, Dr. Williams had her debut appearance on the Broadcast Ministers’ Alliance of Chicago’s International Sunday School Program on TV 38. Such appearances continued throughout 1996 and 1997. In 1996, she was ordained an Elder of the Lord’s Church by Bishop Trotter. Also in 1996 Dr. Williams taught a class entitled, “Single, Saved and Satisfied”, as part of the Illinois Full Gospel Church Fellowship, Daughters of the Promise Women’s Conference. Dr. Williams served as an Associate Minister at the Sweet Holy Spirit Full Gospel Church, in Chicago, Illinois, under the leadership of the Bishop Trotter from 1992 through 1998. Dr. Williams served as Pastor of the New Members’ Ministry. Additionally, Dr. Williams was Leader of the Prayer Ministry for five (5) years, responsible for leading prayer vigils, teaching and training intercessors and praying with listeners and viewers during live radio and television broadcasts. Dr. Williams continuously served as an active member of the Prison Ministry, conducting worship services at local prisons on a monthly basis. She served as a Board Member of the Christian Board of Education, holding the position of Director of Leadership Education. She also taught Adult Sunday School at Sweet Holy Spirit Church. Over the several years of ministry, the Lord has blessed Dr. Williams to mentor, teach, and equip many men and women of God as spiritual sons and daughters. Those sons and daughters are now fulfilling their calling as fivefold ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In February, 1998, Dr. Williams was assigned to teach the Youth Ministry in a four (4) week class on Intercessory Prayer. Many of the young adults were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in unknown tongues during the closing sessions of this time of sharing.
Since February, 1998, the Lord has consistently confirmed a call to Dr. Williams as an Apostle to the Nations of the World to teach Prophetic Ministry, through conducting Schools of the Prophets. The Lord has prepared and released her for such an Apostolic pioneering global work of the ministry even now in Jesus’ name. In March, 1998, the Lord directed Dr. Williams to form More Like Jesus Ministries, Inc. (“MLJM”). In accordance with the instructions received from the Lord, the Illinois not-for-profit corporation facilitates the conducting of National and International Schools of the Prophets throughout the world. Dr. Williams serves as CEO of the Board of MLJM. During November, 2002, MLJM conducted its historically first National School of the Prophets at our Church home, Cornerstone Christian Center in South Chicago Heights, Illinois. The Lord God Almighty was great in the midst of His people to equip and release prophetic ministers for such a time as this. The first international journey in this calling as an Apostle to the Nations began in North East India in 2004. Our team was invited to be speakers at the first regional prophetic conference with a team of four female ministers, to the Glory of God. That region of North East India had never received female ministers.
In August 2005 another global pioneering work was advanced when Dr. Williams led a team of five female ministers into both North East and South India to conduct the first ever Women’s Conferences in both regions. Our team ministered to more than 1,000 women as to their calling, their destiny and their assignment in the Kingdom of God, to the Glory of God. In October and November 2005 our team had the opportunity to appear on Chicago's Cable Access Network TV on the Jho Rhoni Show to discuss our Ministry calling and the purpose for the National and International Schools of the Prophets. Our return trip to South India in September, 2006, for the second annual Women's Conference consisted of a team of six female ministers from around the United States and one from South Africa. God is transforming the lives of the women of India, that they may realize the fullness of their destiny in Him.
In November and December 2006, Dr. Williams was invited to the Nation of Kenya, East Africa to conduct a regional Leadership Conference. It was yet another pioneering work in that the host Church had never had a speaker from the U.S.A. That open door has led to the establishment of an ongoing working relationship with the host Apostle to go back into Kenya to conduct a regional Women’s Conference . The vision also includes ministering to nearly twenty (20) unreached Kenyan tribes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In October and November 2008 Dr. Williams had the opportunity to return to both South India and North East India to conduct what proved to be another miraculous move of God among the women of India in both regions of the Nation. The women leaders of India are being enlarged in their calling to serve the God Most High! Our return trip to India includes laying the foundation stone for the Himalayan International Mission Bible College as well as ministry to married couples in the first ever such conference.
In June 2009 Dr. Williams traveled with a team of four (4) ministers into the Nation of Nigeria, West Africa to conduct an International Prophetic Conference in the City of Ikom, Cross River State, Nigeria. At that time a newly formed alliance was birthed between More Like Jesus Ministries, Inc. and African Global Ministries Network to the Glory of God! In these same series of meetings, Dr. Williams had conferred upon her a Doctorate Degree in Christian Education through the Muskegon Bible Institute. The team returned for yet another glorious Prophetic Conference in 2012. Dr. Williams is currently worshiping and serving since early 2001 at Cornerstone Christian Center (“Cornerstone”) in South Chicago Heights, Illinois under the leadership of Apostle Gregory D. Howse and Pastor Karen C. Howse. Since 2007, she has served as a Member of the Prophetic Council at Cornerstone. Her assignment also affords the opportunity to teach and instruct in the area of the Character, Integrity and the Prayer Life of prophetic ministers within the local Church body.
Since 1990, Dr. Williams also has served as a licensed and practicing attorney and counselor at law within the State of Illinois. Since 2003 the calling has been to serve also as an Apostle in the Marketplace. In that calling, the Lord has allowed her to mentor on an ongoing basis, several young attorneys in the areas of her law practice emphasis, including litigating employment law cases.
